The Villainess Malfoy, our visual novel inspired by the web novel of the same name, is now available on itch.io! 💚

What if Malfoy were a girl? And what if Harry Potter fell for her at first sight? We've turned that premise into a game where you can read the story, choose what to say, and experience a different kind of encounter in a familiar magical world.

A first meeting in Diagon Alley

In this game, you play as Harry Potter. Step into the magical world through his eyes, see Diagon Alley, and meet Karina Malfoy.

That first encounter is the starting point for a story built around the events of The Chamber of Secrets. The names and places may be familiar, but the Malfoy standing in front of you is a little different. Take your time with the story and imagine what you might say to her, and where their relationship could go.

Choose your words and watch the characters come to life

Even if you've never played a visual novel before, it's easy to get started. Read the dialogue and story, then choose what you'd like to say when a choice appears. Think about how Harry would respond, or simply follow your own heart.

We've also brought expressions and movement to the characters with Spine animation. As you read, you can watch their faces and movements alongside the dialogue. Keep an eye on Karina's expression when she speaks :)

Start with the prologue and Episode 1

The prologue and Episode 1 are available to play now. This release introduces the opening of the story, with more episodes still in development.

Begin with the first encounter in Diagon Alley, then continue into Episode 1 and its late-night heart-to-heart. We'll leave the details for you to discover in the game rather than giving too much away here!

Alongside the wonders of the magical world, there are quieter moments of everyday life.
